A few projects threaten to move off the back burner, including...
—a poetry chapbook by Annie Kao which will be hand-printed from 100 pounds of beautiful, new 16pt Cloister foundry type cast by Theo Rehak of the Dale Guild Type Foundry.
—a second collaboration with John Lane. Thirty of John’s “Old Rob” poems investigating the changing culture of the North Carolina mountain communities will be accompanied by illustrations from xxxx xxxx.
—Aesthetic Police cards. Ever get bummed out when you are given plastic forks at a sit down restaurant, your neighbor puts in an unshielded 100 watt floodlight so you can’t sit in the dark and nurse a bourbon in the midnight hour, or when that cellphone talking SUV driver pulls over and on top of the crosswalk at a red light? These cards will be designed to be handed out to those members of our society who are either unaware or just too rude for their own good. Help restore society to a civilized state. If you’ve got an idea, please share, we’ll consider adding it to the growing list.
We are always interested in reading new works (but do not promise to return mansucripts).
